Dear Gopalbhai,
Jai Shree Krishna,
Do you want to ask us whether writing on a paper is more powerful than reciting the mantra? Please clear my doubts.

Dear Gopal
Jai Shree Krishna
Whatever knowledge i have about your question that i want to share with you.
Shree Mahaprabhuji has given us the Mahamantra, "Shree Krishnaha Sharanam Mama". This mantra contains Thakorji's name itself so there's no doubt that Thakorji's name is as powerful as his own swaroop. My mother told me that whenever you do Mantralekhan you just connect with god for that perticular period. you do Smaran of Thakorji by writing his Mantra. We know very well that what are the benefits of doing Smaran of Thakorji.
In Pushtimarg, Seva, Smaran and Satsang are more important than any other matter.
This is my point of view. I think that Shreekantbhai, Jatin & other knowledgeable vaishnavs can give you more proper replies.

Jai Shri Krishna,
Also on this some places they say that we should not write Astakshar Mantra say on books, have it hanging on the wall in a nice frame or have a cassette or CD on when non vaishnavs are there at our place??
Is all of the above allowed or it is prohibited?

Dear Manishbhai...
As per my knowledge on the same...
We r allow to write ashtakshar mantra in to the books...there is no harm on doing this...
there so many readymade books are also available where u have to just Shree Krishna Sharanam Mama ....
second thing by doing that who ever is writing will be able to write correctly ashtakshar mantra...with proper spelling...which help us ultimately to pronounce properly...
For eg...many of them pronounce shree krishna sharanam mama
but actual is Shree Krishna Sharanam mamah...the colon which at the end of the mantra many of them are not pronouncing...
Let me know if i am wrong anywhere...

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh,
Let me take first of all the bacground. Every word describing the name of shrithakurji is bhagwat swaroopa. That every one will agree, so shrimadbhagwat mahapuran is the naamatmak swaroop of shrithakurji. Now for the question, that if we do mantra lekhan, especially gadhya mantra or astakshar mantra ? how validity is it? And moreover Our Mahanubhaav aacharyas has described these mantras as the gopya mantras. So can we publish this as in the form of a notebook? Then this notebook will also be the bhagwat swaroop and what we do is either we keep in a side to a kabaadi or just drown it in the river. Is this correct? Is is correct to publish the astakshar mantra??

Jai Shree Krishna
No. Ashtakshar Mantra is Gopya mantra, and Pulishing it is not recomended, and not advisable.

jaishreekrishna Shreekant Bhai,
We have this mantra bank (Ahmedabad I guess)...where we can write mantra and they preserve the books for us.
Still we should not write mantra in the Book?

Jai Shri Krishna
Also in Dwarkadishji Haveli in Mathura, continously the Astakshar Mantra was going on in cassette or CD atleast when I went there 2-3 times.
In that temple easily thousands of people come in a day and many of them might not be Pushti Margi, so then they hear the mantra with correct pronounciation atleast.
I have seen the same in some small or medium havelis they have it on for some time..
It that also not allowed??
Thanks,
Manish Jai Shree Krishna

Dear Manish,
You are right....Ashtakshar Mantra is not a Gopya mantra... only Panchakshar and Nivedan Mantra ...
We can write and chant publically also there is no harm on that...
Second thing...in pushtimarg if we Tark(thinking in other manner like cross checking) than might be will be confused....so better just follow what shri mahaprabhuji said...dont go for each every things detail meaning cause many of the things are there which is not disclosed openly...
