I want to know about "Panchang Dandvat". I had seen many vaishnavs doing panchang dandvats in many different-different ways.
I had heard from one of my vaishnav friend that Panchang dandvat for males and females are different.
Please tell me what's the correct procedure of "Panchang Dandvat".

Jai Jai Shri Gokulesh,
Panchang Dandwat is mostly done by females, in this both the hands fingers should be folded kept on floor, the right leg's knee to touch the ground and the left leg's knee in air, and then lean to do Dandwat to the Swaroop. But for males, it is sastang dandwat pranam.
If i wrong, do correct.

Jai shree krishna gopalbhai,
In Pushti Parimal (e-book by PPG 108 shri Dwarkeshlalji Mahoday) , in chapter no-03 under the "Rules of Pushti Marg" , it is stated in rule:13 that
"Panchang dandvat is done before Thankurji and sanstang dandvat is done before guru."
Hence males also have to do panchang dandvat before Thakurji. As per my knowledge, panchang dandvat:
For male: both the hands fingers should be folded kept on floor, the right leg's knee to touch the ground and the left leg's knee in air, and then lean to do Dandwat to the Swaroop.
For female:in this both the hands fingers should be folded kept on floor, the left leg's knee to touch the ground and the right leg's knee in air, and then lean to do Dandwat to the Swaroop.
Let me know whether this procedure of "panchang dandvat" is correct way or not?
Thanks for your reply gopalbhai.
