Also if flowers are not available regularly can we have the flowers on utsavs only as you can't put dry flowers to thakurji?. Yogini

Jai Shree Krishna, Yes, if we don't know how to make malas, it is perfectly okay, in my opinion, to offer loose flowers. We can be creative though and decorate the temple with small flower rangolis. I offer single rose flowers to my Lala daily. Also, it is a great thought to make sure that we have flowers to offer on utsavs. If you simply cannot manage to offer them daily, that is fine with our Shree Thakorji. Flowers complement seva, but they are not an essential element of the whole procedure. Neil.

Jai Shree Krishna, If we don't know how to make Malaji we should learn it, 'cause in my opinion i think that instead of keeping loose flowers in front of Shree Thakorji, we should offer our Thkorji the Malaji. Yes, if flowers are not available in town on regular basis, we should make it sure that atleast on utsav days we have the flowers to make malaji & as well to decorate our Mandirji. Chirag

shri gokulesho jayati malaji for shri thakurji is most important. IT is not learned by going to classes, thakurji will teach itself to you. having needle and thread, just go poring one by one, and becomes a garland. When flowers are not available, Shri Mahaprabhuji has given the option of 'GUNJA MALA", which always is to be weared by shri thakurji. gopalmeta1@yahoo.com

Yes i do agree that we should make malaji for our thakuji, and one should learn to make , but if one does not have time or not willing to learn thn he should put flowers in a palte containg jal so that the fregnance of the flower is spread. Make it look like Shree Jamanaji, one can use ettar also with the flowers. As far as possible make malaji every day , but if flowers are not avalable than one can agange for some flowers during the Utsav days.

Jay Shri Krishna. What I have heard from one Vaishnav for making MALAJI.I will try to repeat. Flowers must be facing towards THakurji so from both end malaji's flowers are uniform.DANDI of flowers are towards lotus feet of Thakurji. This is because flowers are consider Vaishnav and they would like to see face of Thakurji. Jai Shree Krishna

Monica ji, I for one would not offer such a mala to my sevya swaroopa. Can you imagine offereing satin mala in this heat.

However, the best source for clarifying the same, is your own Gurughar. Kindly seek their advice, and proceed accordingly.

As Vaishnavs doing seva, it is very important to remember that as regards to all doubts related to seva, one should ideally seek all clarification regarding the same from ones Gururghar only, or from another Vaishnav, if advised to do so by your Gurudev. To follow or change seva vidhi by generally taking the advice of Vaishanvs is not recomonded.

My apologies if this is incorrect.

   Jai Shree Krishna!!

Shreekantbahi I'm not asking of offering satin flower's in summer but in winter it may be offerred

if flowers are not available, or as shringar around the Chabiji

(This is my  view I don't know whether it's  allowed to offer shringar to  frame)

N can we use pure fine cotton fabric , 'arganza' to make small flower's or malaji for summer.

(I know how to make them)

So now please say whether it's allowed.

Jai Shree Krishna!!

jai shree krishna

I think one should make a point of making phool malaji on a daily basis, its not hard to get flowers nor does it take time it probably takes less then 15 mins to do a malaji. The reason why we have to make malaji is because its vrajbhakto na bhav thi that why its surrounded along thakorji.

Furthermore regarding making malaji out of some fabric. i dont think shree mahaprabhuji or shree gusaiji ever offered to thakorji. We as human being like having smell of flowers and specially ladies who like to put in their hair so it smells nice, woudl any lady like to but a flower which is made out of fabric? i dont think so. So over here we have to consider shree thakorji's sukh and what makes him happy.

even if its the most simplest malaji thakorji will angigar that. the easiest way to do is either get champa or mogro or even rose patels.

With champa just have it in the needle and fold all the 5-6 petal on the needle and it will create nice design

with Mogro alone just take out the bit from end and then put the needle through the small hole of the moghro and u get like a line. (30 cm)

with rose petals just fold them and make it like a line around 30 cm, Depending what swaroop you have thatha or lalan

sorry if i have offended anyone

jai shree krishna
