Jai Shree Krishna Well I guess Gopal bhai is pre-occupied, let me take the question a step further... There are five types of tilaks they are... 1. Kesari Tilak 2. Kum kum Tilak 3. Kasturi Tilak 4. Ratna Jadit Tilak 5. Gorochan Tilak Now can anyone say the bhaav behind these Tilaks ?

Jai Shri Krishna, in answer to this wonderful question, i would like to point to the link posted here sometime ago. http://www.pushtikul.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=693&FORUM_ID=1&CAT_ID=7&Forum_Title=%3Cb%3EDisscuss+it+all%2E+%3C%2Fb%3E&Topic_Title=Tilak Translating this in simple english according to my limited understanding: 1. Kesari Tilak - This is the bhaav of Shri Swaminiji 2. Kum kum Tilak - encourages/cultivates the required and cherished Virah-taap (intense mood of separation) 3. Kasturi Tilak - This is the bhaav of Shri Yamuna Maharaniji 4. Ratna Jadit Tilak - This is the bhaav of the formost amongst the Shrutirupa Sakhis, Shri chandravaliji and it is with this understanding that one puts it (on Thakorji). 5. Gorochan Tilak - This is the bhaav of the 16,000 Agnikumarikas, and one adorns Thakorji with this bhaav by doing the tilak. Best Wishes jagdish
