It is Something shocking thing that what i m trying to say. Now a days the use of Allopathic medicines has increased a lot, and even Aryuvedic medicines are now available in the tablet form or capsule form, similar to allopathic medicines. But they can be non-veg, then ?????
We Hindus believe in having vegetarian food, and we r very choosy for having food. But just as every jeev requires air to live in, so even medicines are th part of our life, for many diseases. So if they also contain non-vegetarian part, then can we still call ourselfs as a vegetarian?
Now a days the use of Soft Gel prepeartion of capsules, which directly indicate that they r been made from Gelatin, the fish extract. The outer layer of medicine i.e. the gel base is itself a non-veg. Moreover the manufacturers even dont give the mark on the cartoon of that pack as the veg (green colour) or non-veg (dark red colour). Even the normal capsules which we are habituated to take since our childhood for various diseases, even they contain gelatin, so they r called hard gelatin capsules or directly the capsules. Do get notified to this................ Jai Jai ShriGokulesh Parivaar, Baroda
