Jai Shri Krishna,
Surprised no answer on this one
Well here is the answer.
Shri Suka informs as follows,
Intent upon carrying out the behests of Brahma (for being incarnated to Vraja as a cowherd and a cowherdess), Drona, the foremost fo the Vasus, along with his wife, Dhara, spoke to Him as follows
" When we are born on earth, let the highest (type of ) devotion appear in us towards Shri Hari, the supreme Deity, the Ruler of the universe, through which one is sure to escape from evil destiny in this world"
Replied to in the words "Let it be so!" he was reborn in Vraja and became known as the worshipful and illustrious Nanda; while the aforesaid Dhara became Yasoda.
As a result of that boon, devotion to Lord Visnu (sought by all men) who became their Son appeared in the couple in a special degree among the cowherds and cowherdess (of Vraja), O Scion of Bharata.
Dwelling in Vraja along with Balarama in order to fulfill the boon of Brahma, Shri Krishna ( The Almigty Lord) brought delight to them (all) by HIS (infantile) pastimes.

Jay Shri Krishna.
Another story which I have heard is Nandbaba and Yashodama were bramin couple passing days on BHIKSHA.One day God came in the form of Atithi to their house and ask for lunch,at this time Bhraman was out for collecting Bhiksha, nothing was avilable in the house to offer.Atithi pressed for lunch or let him go without taking meal. She does not want Atithi to go without lunch so she approached to a grain merchant. She was not having any money to purchase grains so Merchant ask for her STAN.She without hesitation cut her STAN and brought grains home and prepared food and served Atithi.God were very much pleased and blessed her in your next birth I will stay with you as your son.
This is so said story I do not know origin of it.If any one can support I request to hear more.
