Jai Shri Krishna,Can anyone describe why God was given the name of Shri Ladleshji? When did this lila take place and how the name was given to the swaroop? Vasant

Shree Ladleshji is the thakorji given by shree Mahaprabhuji to Shree Gusainji for him to play with the lord. Usually Shree Gusainji used to offer bhog to shree thakorji and then eat the prasadi offerings himself. However once when he forced the Thakorji many times, as per the wishes Shree Thakorji came as pratyaksh swaroop and started eating the "Thor/mathadi", this surprised Shree Gusianji, and being a samll balak, he felt the loss of his food and asked it back, however, Shree thakorji in his leela refused, at this point Shree Gusainji treid to take the thor from Shree Thakorji, and Shree thkorji snatches it back from him. Noticing the commotion between the both of them, Shree Mahaprabhuji, asks for another thor and gives it to Gusainji, putting an end to the tug of war between the two lalans. And seeing Shree Thakorji fighting for his thor, Shree Mahaprabhuji affectionately describes him as being very Ladaku, hence the name Shree Ladleshji.

Did you read above at some place? In which book ?as I have a different story related to Shri Ladleshji before this incident of yours took place.

my humble apologies to one and all for wrongly understanding your question, Vasant bhai. The incident i have refered to is with respect to Shree Balkrishnalaljis swaroopa and not shree Ladleshji, the swaroop that was found along the banks of Shree Yamunaji, near Brahmand Ghat on Mahavan by the old woman (Kshatrani) along with Shree Navneetpriyaji, Shree Lalith Thribhangaji and Shree Gokulchandramaji. I only know that Shree Ladleshji was first worshipped by Shree Jiyadas suri, then by his sons, then their uncle (mama) Krishnadas, and his friend Harji, who eventually retaurned the Swaroopa to Shree Gusainji at gokul as per the instructions of Shree Mahaprabhuji.

Thanks for correcting the mistake you made and at the same time apologising for the same.
You dont have to be sorry we all make mistakes and that is how we learn.
Failures are the steping stone to success. I am happy to know you taking keen interest and already know quite a bit (the knowledge which is hard to get).

As i know the answer i shall only give the meaning of Ladileshji, Ladili was the pet name of Radhaji and radhajis ishwar is shree thakorji so the name ladileshji. Shri vasant bhai pls dont give the correct answer till i post the answer.

NO i am not searching for the answer, i know it i am waiting for others to answer, to givce u one more hint the name ladleshji was named in barsana when shri nandraiji had gone there for some time on request from shri Vrishbhanji to stay as kansa and his rakshas had no power in barsana and once when kansa came to Barsana he turned into a lady. As i have given a part of the answer it should be clear that i am not searching, i shall post the full incidence after two days.

thank you Vasant bhai and Vrajesh bhai for giving time for us vaishnavs to look for the answer. I had read this recently but however confused my self and by error gave the mistaken answer in the previous post. However, with Shree Thakorjis krupa i have bben able to locate the answer...
Shree Ladliji is the swaroopa of Shree Swaminji, and Shree Thakorji by virtue of becoming the Husband of Shree Swaminiji, got the name Shree Ladleshji. It so happened that once when shree Nandraiji lost one of his cows, and went in search for it. Shree Thakorji too adamantly came along for the search. It became late evening, and the sunset too was over. Adding to the darkness dense clouds gathered, and it began to drizill. Shree Nandraiji got worried of Shree Thakorji as he would get scared in such an ambience. He wanted to send Shree thakorji back home, but did not whom to send along, as there was nobody seen near by. At that moment, Shree Swaminiji was returning back home after accomplishing her evening duties at the Goshala. Shree Nandraiji requests her to take Shree thakorji safely back home and hand him over to Shree Yashodaji. Shree Swaminji readily agrees. While going towards Shree Nandraijis house, Shree Swaminji, attracted by Shree thakorjis swaroopa, starts day dreaming of shree Thakorji as her husband, but is uncomfortable of the fact that Shree Thakorji is so small. Shree Thakorji being virudh dharmasharayi, immediatley gets to no of shree swaminijis manorath, and takes the form equalent of Shree Swaminji and completes her manorath. As they reach home, Shree Thakorji once again takes the form a balak swaroopa and rushes to Ma Yashodaji. Shree Swaminiji, departs having handed over the swaroopa to Yashodaji. This is the swaroopa that was found by the Kshatrani along with the other three forms of Shree Thakorji.
