We read SHIKSHAPATRA, learn about dinta, so let us remember one good prasang of Shri Hariraiji and try to know more about Him.

Shri Gokulnathji was His Bhrahmasamandh Guru; Shri Kalyanraiji, His father and Jankivahuji, His mother. Amazed at the ease with which He would grasp the essence of Vedas and Pushitmargiya Sahitya, Shri Kalyanraiji would remark that ‘Emnu Swaroop aloukik che, Kakaji na Adhramrut thi bandhaylo Emno ling deh che’. When He was presented with a swaroop of Lalan to play, He instead immersed Himself in Its seva and that became his only and favorite game. Satsang became His most loved thing and he couldn’t do without Vaishnavs and Satsang. His day was spent in singing kirtans for Shri Prabhu and He assumed various nicknames for the purpose, some being Rasik, Haridas, Rasikraiji…Though He possessed extraordinary gyan and seva-ruchi, He was full of dinta.

Shri Kalyanraiji was disapproving of Shri Hariraiji’s tendency to sit amongst Vaishnavs for kirtan and many times he would express His anger and disappointment. Shri Kalyanraiji felt that a Balak should maintain distance from the Vaishnavs, but, as far as Shri Hariraiji was concerned, it was all in vain. In an attempt to teach Him a lesson, His father locked Him in a room for three days. Shri Hariraiji felt intense virah for His Vaishnavs and Satsang, but instead of losing patience and calm, He continued reciting Sarvottam Stotra to reinforce His faith. Pleased, Shri Mahaprabhuji and Shri Gunsaiji showered Their krupa on Him by giving Sakshat darshan and many ashirwad. Noticing the radiant emission from the room, Shri Kalyanraiji unlocked the door and immediately picked His son in the lap and displayed overflowing adulation. Admitting that he had not completely understood Shri Hariraiji’s swaroop, Shri Kalyanraiji said that he now trusted Him with whatever He wished to do. Shri Hariraiji’s swaroop was glowing. Let me finish with one pad by Shri Hariraiji…

ARTH: Shri Vallabh, You being Mukharvind swaroop of Shri Prabhu, please give me Your DASYA. I am dusht, not immune to sansarashakti. You must be amused! We desire to traverse this journey, but at every step, there are failures and we are pushed backwards. So, Shri Vallabh, through Your Charankamal and Karkamal, grant me Abhay. Is there anyone superior than You, Shri Vallabh? NO, NO ONE ELSE!!

Such was our dinta-saagar, our Harirai Prabhuji!
