these are the rules defined by shri mahaprahuji and that has to be followed.
Are we allowed to wear off dress in a school ? coz school has some definite rules to be followed and so every student has to wear the specific uniform.
similarly it is u can say the uniform of pushtimarg.
U have to abide by these rules which is a fact.

Jai Shree Krishna
Good Question....
Vivekbhai the example which you have given is not 100% correct ...
In Pushtimarg what ever Siddhant are beenen by Shri Mahaprabhuji, Shri Gusaiji and other Go Balaks are have Vedic and scientific value also
As per vedic method any cloth to be wore from top(forhead) to bottom(feet) or bottom are not allowed..
The dhoti while wearing we are using right to left or left to right ...
I do not know the reason for the same but this is what i have heard from Bhagvidaya Vaishnav...
Correct me if i am wrong any where...
And the Uparna which we are wearing is for the Bhav of Gopi as we have to do seva with Gopibhav.

Jay shree krishna.
Jay Gokul ke chandki,
Thanks for ur answers,, but as per i know from vaishnavs, we cannot wear stiched clothes while doing seva... or stuffs like buttons, chains etc.....
this is one reason why we wear dhoti, bandi etc...
but here there is one confusion, i heard one time from one vallabhkul balak tat if there were pantshirts available at the time of mahaprabhuji mahaphrabhuji might have adorned thakorji with pant shirt also....
And if it's tat we can only wear single stiched clothes the modern t-shirts are single stitched....
This is just a confusion,, i m no one who can oppose or argue with wat vallabh has told to do.....
It's just tat a wild question went thru my mind n i posted it to forum...
kindly forgive me if i m wrong....
Jay shree krishna....

Dear Vaishnavs
Jai Shree Krishna
There is no growth without discipline and Mala, tilak, Dhoti, Bandi all are part of the discipline within Pushtimarg. All of these have a meaning and bhaav bhavna behind them. As Tulsi mala is our mangal sutra, Tilak is the chaap of thakorji's shree charan on our foreheads.
In the time of Shreemad Vallabh everyone wore Dhotis and it was widely available so it was considered to be the practice. But being in pushtimarg we should try to do as much as we can to follow the same routines laid down by Shreemad Vallabh. Taking Charnamrut, Doing tilak, wearing dhoti and bandi.
Gos. Shree Yashubawa had told us in his vachanamrut that When we go infront of thakorji with Vaishnav tilak on our forehead, thakorji smiles as he sees the tilak and knows that this person is his own.
I hope I am making sense to all. Please give your comments

Shri Jatinbhai /Anupbhai,
I am really delighted to read :
As per vedic method any cloth to be wore from top(forhead) to bottom(feet) or bottom are not allowed..
'There is no growth without discipline and Mala, tilak, Dhoti, Bandi all are part of the discipline within Pushtimarg. All of these have a meaning and bhaav bhavna behind them. As Tulsi mala is our mangal sutra, Tilak is the chaap of thakorji's shree charan on our foreheads.

The Uparna which we are wearing is for the Bhav of Gopi as we have to do seva with Gopibhav.
It seems entire work culture & dress code is well defined by Shri Mahaprabhuji.
Good knowldge sharing.
Once again a nice learing session.

Dear Vallabhi Vaishnavs,
Yes do also think wearing a Dhoti and Bandi is Gopi Bhav.As per my knowledge, please correct me if i am wrong,we should only do seva of Shree Thakorji as a Gopi Bhav. Dhoti resembles as ghagra of Gopi and Bandi resembles as Choli.I am not sure , please let me know your veiws.

jai shri krishna to all
might be i am not 100%sure. but i have heard some where that, the clothes which we were from top or bottomi.e stiched, chain or button is not allowed in apras coz it is assumed that it doed=s not allows the soul to meet god(deities). this we can say as aatma ne parmatma thi madva nathi detu. aatma ne bandhan ma bandhe che.
if any one knows it pls let me know that
