Jai jai shri gokulesh
Yes Vaibhavji, you are right soul gets the liberation and gets merged with the akshar brahma. Whereas body and mind are materialistic and hence get merged with pancha-tatva (agni, vayu, jal, aakash and pruthvi).

Jai Shri Krishna Shreekant Bhai, it is good to see you after such a long time...
In the most basic form, i am trying to understand the commonly known types of mukti (liberation). These are being listed below. Please excuse any mistakes or confusions created in describing them here and kindly enlighten us by correcting any mistakes and expanding on the same.
There are five types of liberation:
- Sarupya/Swaroop/Form - The jeev obtains the same form/features/looks as God or as His companions or associates, example, chaturbhuj swaroop, four hands, blue complexion, etc.
- Samipya/Closeness - Lliving close to God (example could be that of the vraj bhaktas, gopis and gopas who were always with him?)
- Salokya/swalokya/Same loka/Abode - Living on the same Loka/Planet as God, this could be any of the numerous Vaikuntha planets.
- Sarsti - Same Opulences - Here the jeev is having the same opulences as God, all the different types of riches, wealth fame, etc..
- Sayujya (becoming one with Sri Bhagavan either by merging into His body or by merging into His brahman/Braham Jyoti/effulgence). This means that the atma/jeev merges into the Brahm Jyoti, which is the impersonal effulgence of the Lord.
Based on the above, can we give examples of jeevs (such as stories of the 84 and 252 vaishnavs) and the related Leelas, where the jeevs obtained any of the above mentioned types of mukti ?
Example, what did Mama Kansa/Kams and Dhrtrashtra, etc. get ?
Who was Dantvaktra and what was his story ? - it would be nice to know, as we hear alot about Shishupal but hardly anything about Dantvaktra ?
Best Wishes jagdish

Jai jai shri gokulesh
Jagdishbhai you are right that there are 5 types of Mukti
Mukti - liberation from material existence.
There are five types of liberation:
· sarupya (obtaining the same form as Bhagavan) ,
· samipya (living in close proximity to Bhagavan) ,
· salokya (living on the same planet as Bhagavan) ,
· sarsti (having the same opulence as Bhagavan) , and
· sayujya (becoming one with Sri Bhagavan either by merging into His body or by merging into His brahma effulgence).
The last type is vehemently rejected by the bhaktas.
Although the other four types of mukti are sometimes accepted by bhaktas as they are not entirely incompatible with bhakti, they are never accepted by those who are fixed on attaining unalloyed love for Sri Krsna in Vraja.

Jai jai shri gokulesh
Dantavakra
Dantavakra was the son of one of Vasudev's (Krishna's father) sister. When he heard that Krishna has killed Shishupaal (Krishna's father's another sister's son), he came to Mathuraa to fight with Krishna. Krishna also came to Mathuraa to fight with him. Both had a great fight at the gate of Mathuraa Puree near Yamunaa River. In the end Krishna killed him with His Gadaa hitting his chest. He also got Parampad of Krishna.
Both Jaya and Vijaya, gatekeepers of Vishnu, were born as Raakshas because of Sankaadi Muni's Shaap, three times and got their death through Bhagvaan. First they were born as Hiranyaaksh and Hiranykashyap; second time they were born as Raavan and Kumbhkarn; and third time they were born as Shishupaal and Dantavakra. This was their last life so after that they got Moksh.
