This is a quote of Vitthalestak the 1st sloka, in which it is said that By no mantras and by no tantras gyan is not been gained in pushtimargg. which Anoopbhai said Sudarshan Kavach, Yamuna Kavach, Narayan Kavach, Narayan Astra etc are all karm yog kriyas that a person would do to discard any evil that can affect a person.

in this wonderful reply given by Anoopji, i want to add one another matter that The True Pushtimargiya Vaishnav also does not need to do the Samputi Paath of Shri Yamunashtakm coz this is also one karm kriya of Maryada Marg. doing such type of paath is not the Pushtimargiya aachar & such type of matter is also not known by many vaishnavs.

Jayshreeji visiting Shri Madavji or is it Mahadevji or Shivji well it not right.
Yes Shivji is param vaishnav and also big Bhagwadia but visiting other Gods or demi Gods is not permitted.
You must have complete faith in our Shri Thakurji.
In pushtimarg we dont even celeberate Shivratri or Shiv Jayanti.

Going to a Shiva temple with the motive of seeking bellsings for the new year, is not right, for then we are divided in our dhrudta to Shree Thakorji. And that is Anyashray. Anything that takes you away from your belief in Shree Thakorji is Anyashraya.
Shree Shivaji is Pratham and Param Vasishnav Yes. Hence, when you happen to paas by his Temple, please do vandan, and say Jai Shree Krishna. To turn ones face the other side, or walk past with out an acknowledgement is wrong.

Well said Shreekantbhai,going to Demi God's Temples with motives of seeking something in return, causes Anyashray.
Wise men have also said:
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a garage makes you a mechanic.
So if passing by Shree Shivaji's Temple, Vandan without any motives is approriate.

For example in addition to vinodbhai that if someone's name is Shankar and we had to call this person, than calling this person is not an anyashray, as it is the identity of that person that he is been recognised by the name Shankar.
Moreover without any expectation if ever sometimes went to any other deities temple, then it doesnot become an anyashray. But should avoid to go.
Moreover only pushtimarg is not the religion which explains the path of ananyata. Also in islam, who is a muslim, has to only follow the quran. and should not go to any other deity's place. Moreover in christinity also isu-christ said the same thing that "thou should not bow down to any other deity."
